The hotel staffs are friendly and accommodating. They readily respond to your needs. There are restaurants and fast-food nearby. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The beat hotel I've been to in Naga so far

Did not live up to its reputation as the best hotel in Naga City

The lobby and dining area were nice. Breakfast was okay. Staff, hospitality, and customer service were excellent.

The lobby made it look like a luxury hotel, though 7-8 employees around the reception desk seemed unnecessary. Welcome drinks and snacks upon check-in were a nice touch, but could have gone without if everything else was excellent. Our room was a disappointment. Rooms badly need an update. Dirty windows and carpet. Smelled old and musty. Curtains were stuck and would not slide open. Stains on the walls. Old furniture that didn't function properly. Old style, small TV with poor channel choices and video quality. Extremely slow internet connection. Bathroom tub drained very, very slowly. Broken clothesline. Getting in and out of tub was a challenge and safety hazard for elderly and people with mobility issues. Nice size swimming pool but many pool tiles were missing which is another safety hazard. Could not work remotely due to poor internet connection. Transferred to newer hotel across the street which had better wifi and accommodations.

the bathtub. i wish theres a choice bet a tub or shower only. parking is usually a problem.

Our new favorite when in Naga :)

-Customer Service - superb! Everyone is smiling and greeting you, helpful at all times and willing to go beyond like making sure our baggage is assisted and we are not burned by the sun with umbrella :) -Location - at the heart of the city where you can just walk at night to find restaurants, coffee shops and pharmacy -Breakfast - buffet with many choices and everything is delicious -Lobby - with grand piano, unique design and welcoming ambiance -Parking -has ample space -Room - spacious, cold AC, has fridge, cabinet, chairs, tables and a bath tub

-The window in our room (Naga river view) was dirty. I think it was not cleaned for a long time. -Tv remote was not working and has only 1 channel. -The pool is cold during day and night - wish it was heated .

Their breakfast is absolutely wonderful! Also, the location of the hotel is just right smack in the centre of everything.

I had issues with the cleanliness and the poorly-maintained rooms of the hotel. The beds are already beaten-down and their are stains on the head boards. So disappointing and it makes me cringe just thinking about it.

A 2-star hotel experience in a Top rated 4- star hotel

I liked the location of the hotel. It's close to fast food chains that are open 24 hours. I am a night owl, you see. Some staff. Not all. Just those who greet the guests such as my self.

What I didn't like is anything other than the location. My bed had a torn sheet for starters. I reported the flush of the toilet getting stuck to the receptionist @ the desk before I went out to go somewhere and they were just laughing. I came back after a few or so hours and it was still the same. They didn't even take me seriously. The TV was a mess. All I can see was black and white picture due to bad reception. For the price per night that they charged, it was maybe a 2-star hotel experience. Terrible. A staff of the hotel tried to open my door while I was inside and didn't even announce him or herself. It was most likely a case of mistaken room. But still. I was in the restroom that time. Maybe the staff thought nobody was there. Sigh...

What was the highlight of The Avenue Plaza Hotel

On a Family road trip to Manila, 10 adults and 4 kids age 6 to 12. Only stayed for the one night, got there after 9pm and had to leave at 7am the next morning. But we enjoyed the short stay and would go stay again. The pool looked good, didn't have time for swim and rooms were comfey.

It is well hiding in back of a 2 store strip mall so if you don't see the small sign you can miss it. I didn't get the buffet breakfast becasue i think it was to overpriced for what they were giveing like around $45 each and no matter how you look at it eggs and fruit shouldn't cost you that much a person when you are in a country were you can get a pineapple and a dozen eggs for $3

Because of the staff, we had a great stay.

What i like about the property is the super excellent service from the staff

What i didnt like was i feel like the rooms are not that clean. We had to request to move to another room because our first room has lizard poops and lizard inside. Also the bathtub rubber is black already and the aircon is leaking. When we were transferred to a different room it was a little bit cleaner than the first one but the aircon is still leaking and there were a lot of ants on the table. Nonetheless, our experience was okay.

excellent location, the staff are exceptionally nice, courteous, friendly and cater to visitors needs.

Service was absolutely tops-ie from rank-in-file to the top. Definitely second to none in maogmang lugar. Everyone went above their call of duty to make sure guests' needs are met. Very low turnover of staff which is indicative of good management and training.

I don't drink coffee but I liked the hot chocolate. The service was great and my overall stay was very pleasant. The location was close to where I wanted to go. I would have loved to attend Zumba classes but the fee was a bit expensive to what I pay at home.

I did not get the room with the view of Mt. Isarog.

room was comfortable! curtains kept the room nice and dark to sleep. Also liked that they provided an airport shuttle as Airport is about 40 min from hotel. Received welcome drink, always appreciated after a long journey to get there.

refrigerator in room wasn't working, also requested ice and never got.

Cafe staff needs to be a bit more attentive. We waited for 30 mins before our a la carte dinner got served.
